These names, occupations and hometowns of the jurors who served on Nixzmary Brown's murder trials are all PUBLIC RECORD as they were all spoken on the record in court. It's being provided here for the sake of historical accuracy.
The names, occupations and hometowns of the 12 jurors on Nixzaliz's trial are as follows:
1) ENEL ETIENNE: Black male, 41, lives in Canarsie, investigator for City Dept. of homeless services.
2) NANCY CALEB:Black female, 29, lives in Crown Heights, college administrator.
3) JALEDA YATES: Black female, 20, Flatbush, has a single child, unemployed cashier.
4) STEPHAN DEBINO: Black male,35, Crown Heights, teaches middle school, married, 3 year old girl.
5) DENISE ABDEL-DAYEM: White female, heavy set, late 40's, Bayridge, bookkeeper with city human resources administration, married to computer programmer.
6) EVA MILLER: Black female, 60, City Line, retired, divorced with 2 children.
7) THELMA HOWARD: Black female, 64, Clinton Hills, father was a lawyer, grandfather was a judge, 26 year old son.
8) J.L. WILLIAMS: Black female, 50's, Clinton Hill, retired nurse, married to a medical examiner, 2 grandchildren.
9) BRENDA BAGOT: Black female, 50's, Canarsie, separated from husband, 4 grown children who work as a doctor, baker and social worker.
10) ETHEL MALLARD: Black female, 58, East Flatbush, works for City Health and Hospitals Corp., 2 grown children.
11) LORRAINE JOSEPH: Black female, 30-40's, single mom, son in Iraq, 14 year old daughter.
12) FALASHEDA HALL Black female, 32, Mill Basin, receptionist at a hotel, 1 young child.
Some of these juror's conduct at the trial was a little less than professional. Jurors 2 and 3 would laugh and giggle and carry on everyday. This is a murder trial, respect should be shown. Juror 4 was seen dozing off. Juror 7 kept staring into the audience constantly.
The names of the 5 alternate jurors on Nixzaliz's trial are:
1. LENORE HABERSHAM: White female, late 50's, Park Slope, housewife.
2. CAROL GORDON: Black female, 911 operator.
3. ANTOINE URBAN: Black male, Crown Heights, on disability.
4. SUSAN QUIRINDONGO: Hispanic female, 20's, East Flatbush, banker.
5. JEREMY HUDSON: White male, mid 30's, Brooklyn Heights, manager for Bank of America, former military.
Alternate juror 4, Susan Quirindongo would often be seen coming into the courtroom talking and smiling with Alternate 5, Jeremy Hudson.
Here are the names of Cesar Rodriguez's jurors. They all live in different parts of Brooklyn, N.Y.
1. RONALD SOUFFRANT: Black male, 30's, East Flatbush.
2. RENEE SCHNALL: White female, 38, Crown Heights, has a law degree but works as a human resources director at the Metropolitan Council On Jewish Poverty located in Manhattan.
3. TERRENCE COBWELL: Black male, 34, Starrett City, works for Verizon in Manhattan.
4. JANICE RICHARDSON: Black female, 50-60's, East New York, retired.
5. MERCEY LOUIS (?) Cypress Hills.
6. NICOLE DORCE
7. ROMY MANN: female, Fort Greene
8. BARBARA BURNS: Black female, 40's.
9. GWENDOLYN HUTLEY: female, East New York
10. AMANDA BLONSKY: female, Park Slope
11. ZENA McCLEAN: female, Kensington
12. YVONNE ROBINSON: female
Renee Schnall is the juror who convinced the other jurors to vote manslaughter instead of murder. Because Renee wouldn't bulge, the other jurors voted manslaughter to prevent a mistrial.
Terrence Cobwell also wanted manslaughter. Everyday, Renee Schnall would be seen chatting and talking with Souffrant and Cobwell, during testimony! Terrence Cobwell used to make a pillow with his hands and rest his head on the jury box!
Janice Richardson hugged Cesar's attorney, Jeff Schwartz at the sentencing and told him how she missed him. Richardson also said in an interview that if she ever needed a lawyer, she would hire Jeff Schwartz.
Juror 8, Barbara Burns, has stated that after Cesar's trial, she's been waking up at night in cold sweats and gets goosebumps all over her body. She said that there's a light colored wall in front of her bathroom and as she's leaving the bathroom at night, she sees Nixzmary's face flash on the wall in front of her. The image is that of Nixzmary in her white graduation gown. Burns also stated that every night around 3:30in the morning, she's awakened by the sound of a little girl crying. Her and her husband walk through the whole house but there's no little girl.
I don't think Barbara Burns is making that story up. A school nurse named Khadija Charles, who also attended Cesar's trial said the same thing. That sometimes at night around 3:30 am when she's leaving her bathroom, there's a light colored wall and she also has seen Nixzmary's face flash on the wall in front of her! The image is the same: Nixzmary, the way she looked in her graduation photo.
